Up until the end of 2007, a
quarterly newsletter was being produced from Castle Community Office and
copied and distributed by Basics Plus to all residents of Castle Ward in
Scarborough (over 3,000 people). This was made possible thanks to European
funding which has now come to an end.
Castle Community Newsletter
kept local residents informed about events and activities happening in the
Scarborough area and carried many positive news stories and opportunities
for people to get involved in activities in their local community. Castle
Community Office would like to thank all its contributors for having made
this possible.
If you have any news stories
that you think would be of interest to people living in Castle Ward and
surrounding areas, please e-mail them to
castlecommunityoffice@btinternet.com and we
will display these on our website until a newsletter is back in production.
Castle Community Office is
keen to re-establish a regular newsletter with the assistance of volunteers.
This would depend on production costs being covered by advertising revenues.
